UEFA, University of Lausanne & AFA bring the Master of Football Management

After successfully organizing the meeting of the UEFA HatTrick Committee in Tirana a few days ago with the participation of a senior delegation of the European football government, the Albanian Football Association will host another very important event.

UEFA has entrusted AFA with the organization of the UEFA CFM (Certificate in Football Management), a much-needed program for anyone working in a football organization who wants to increase the level of management and performance. This certification in football management is offered by UEFA to representatives of member federations as well as to football representatives at various levels. The positive experiences of continuous cooperation with Albanian Football Association at all levels has made UEFA entrust the organization of this important training to the Albanian football government.

The program was created by the UEFA Academy and its academic partner, the Swiss School of Public Administration (IDHEAP) of the University of Lausanne, and is now offered to UEFA member federations.
CFM (Certificate in Football Management) aims to develop the theoretical and practical knowledge of a manager, increase the performance of a senior manager and bring him closer to the best practices of European football. Participants will receive lectures from professor of important European universities as well as senior managers of the football world and UEFA executives.

This seminar will be offered in this edition by the Albanian Football Association, in cooperation with UEFA and will be attended by representatives of the AFA, member clubs and representatives of the homologue federations who will be trained by international lecturers.
A great trust and responsibility for AFA that is appreciated for the continuous growth it has had in recent years in terms of management. CFM is organized in three direct seminars with lecturers in the auditorium and 6 modules for candidates are developed in e-learning related to football organization, strategic and operational management, sponsorships, marketing, communication and media, events and volunteer management.

The General Secretary of AFA, Ilir Shulku, has described the organization of this event in Albania as an assessment and at the same time a responsibility given to the Association by UEFA. Shulku expresses his conviction that AFA will successfully organize this event as it has done with all the activities entrusted to it by UEFA.
