The Albanian Football Federation organized this Wednesday a workshop on “Diversity, Equality and Inclusion in Football” that aims to raise awareness, to create an environment where every person, regardless of their background or identity, feels valued and respected and equal in the beautiful game of football.
The representatives of the “Abissnet Superiore” clubs, directors, coaches, footballers and footballers took part in the activity held in the “House of Football”.
In this workshop, some concrete topics related to diversity, equality and inclusion in football were presented – the importance of practicing these values, the benefits when we practice these values, and some case studies were presented related to these issues that involve not only the players in field and the staff working, but a wide range of factors and organizations.
By representing these values, a positive example is set for other industries and communities, social barriers are broken, stereotypes are challenged, a more inclusive and equal society is created, inclusion increases fan engagement, the bond between clubs and supporters is strengthened, doors are opened to new markets. new and alternative sources of income, as well as clubs and organizations can harness a wealth of ideas, drive innovation and develop creative solutions to challenges on and off the pitch.
During this workshop, all participants discussed the topics and talked about the problems they encounter on a daily basis, as well as shared ideas about the way and strategies that can be followed to improve football and the structure of a club.
