Work progresses rapidly on the construction of the new Valias Stadium, with the installation of the playing surface now underway. This marks the final phase of this important investment, which will soon serve both football and the local community.
To monitor the progress of the project, Pamela Ndocaj, a specialist from the Albanian Football Association’s Projects and Infrastructure Department, visited the stadium. She praised the progress of the investment and highlighted the importance the new stadium will have for the development of football in the area, as well as for providing modern facilities for young athletes and the local community.
“Construction work at Valias Stadium has been progressing at a very satisfactory pace, and the project is being completed according to schedule day by day. With the completion of the main stand, we have now entered the phase of installing the playing surface. Through this partnership between the Albanian Football Association and the Municipality of Kamëz, the community will soon benefit from a new, modern, and fully functional sports facility. As the Albanian Football Association, we are here to reaffirm our commitment to improving sports infrastructure and creating the highest-quality conditions for the development of football across the country,” Pamela Ndocaj told fshf.org.
The new Valias Stadium is being built to First Category standards and will have a seating capacity of 1,400 spectators. This investment is part of the Albanian Football Association’s broader strategy to develop sports infrastructure throughout the country, with the goal of providing high-quality facilities for the growth of football at every level.
