During a high-level meeting with the Presidents and General Secretaries of eleven national associations, unconditional support for UEFA President Aleksander Ćeferin was reaffirmed

Eleven UEFA national associations from Southeast Europe convened today at the headquarters of the Albanian Football Association in Tirana for the UEFA Strategic National Associations meeting.

Hosted by Albanian FA President and UEFA Vice-President, Mr. Armand Duka, the gathering focused on critical aspects of UEFA’s football development strategy, such as: the future format of UEFA club competitions post-2024 and the accompanying new solidarity program, discussions on refereeing matters and upcoming developments, benchmarking data and analysis in sporting areas and finances, and exploration of betting systems and emerging opportunities for the participating countries.

Representatives from 11 football national associations were invited, including Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Slovenia, Turkey, and Albania.

After presentations on these topics, the participating national associations delved into discussions regarding the future of European football, upon which all participants unanimously expressed unwavering support for President Ćeferin and the UEFA administration.
