The Albanian Football Association announces that soon they will start implementing the VAR system for some of the matches in the First Category.
Including the VAR system in this category matches has been an long term objective of the AFA, meanwhile this system it’s currently being used in the “Abissnet Superiore” category since the 2021-2022 season and it’s regularly being used for three season in the Albanian Cup matches, starting from the quarter finals to the grand final.
AFA it’s finishing the last steps so that the VAR system usage will start immediately in the second part of the season in some matches of the First Category.
