The Albanian Football Association organized this Wednesday a meeting regarding the emancipation in the stadium. Present in this meeting were journalists , politicians, fans and representatives of the Federation. Different ideas were discussed regarding the women’s presence in the stadiums , and identified the excessive insults as the cause of the low presence. The President of AFA , Armand Duka greeted the panel and joined the initiative of AFA. President Duka stated : ‘’ Today , football is very important , and the best game in the world, demonstrated by different indicators. We chose this theme because I believe it is of special importance. We have a visible separation of international and national football. We have a relatively emancipated stadium with women’s presence during the international matches , but this doesn’t happen during the national ones. The investments and the organizations is something very important but we are here to talk about the subject that depends from us. In a masculine environment , we have to do more in order to enable a higher presence of women in the stadium , not only to fill the stairs , because football does not belong exclusively to men , football is for all ‘’ – underlined in his opening remarks , President Duka. During the meeting , the participants shared their opinions regarding the steps that should be undertakes in order to add the presence of women in the stadiums.
