Another important recognition for Albanian refereeing comes from UEFA, which has appointed an all-Albanian officiating team to take charge of the Women’s World Cup qualifying match between England and Ukraine.
The match, valid for Group A3 of the FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers, will be played tomorrow at Everton Stadium in Liverpool and will be officiated by international referee Emanuela Rusta.
She will be assisted by Mirjeta Salla and Edjena Kapxhiu, while Eglantina Pjetrushaj has been appointed as the fourth official.
The selection of four Albanian officials for a match of this level represents further recognition of the growing reputation of Albanian refereeing on the international stage.
The England vs Ukraine match will kick off at 21:00.
