The Football Association is dedicating special attention to the development of young girls’ national teams. At the “House of Football,” the U-17 and U-19 teams, led by Cyme Lulaj and Luçije Gjini, are undergoing intensive preparations for their European qualifying matches. The coaching staff is organizing training sessions and friendly matches to strengthen the teams and assess the players’ level.
Beyond these teams, younger age groups are also following the same development path. The U-15 national team, led by Daniela Kodra, and the regional U-14 team are working to identify and integrate new talents. Training sessions and friendly tests provide young girls with the opportunity to showcase their skills and take their first steps toward the national teams.
This project is part of the AFA’s strategy to strengthen women’s football in Albania and build competitive teams at the international level. Through these preparations, the aim is to improve the quality of play and encourage more girls to engage in football, creating a strong foundation for the future.
