The Refereeing Department of the Albanian Football Association has concluded the two-day winter seminar with women referees, as part of the second phase of the championships in Albania.
The special guest of this seminar was Esther Staubli, a UEFA refereeing instructor, who shared her experience as a FIFA referee with the participants, along with key moments that have marked her career.
Her training focused on various techniques for managing on-field situations, teamwork, and the importance of handling pressure from fans and other stakeholders both on and off the field.
During the presentation, there were various discussions, questions, and experience-sharing between referee Esther Staubli and the participants.
Another key part of the day was the presentation of a sports psychology topic, which focused on the importance of referees’ mental health both on and off the field, as well as its impact on job performance.
The winter seminar is an essential part of the Albanian Football Association’s program to ensure the development and growth of Albanian referees, preparing them for the challenges ahead in the remainder of the season.
