UEFA Nations League / Albania plays its final Group B1 match against Ukraine.

Albania played its final Group B1 match in the UEFA Nations League today against Ukraine at the “Air Albania” stadium. The match was won by Ukraine with a 1-2 scoreline. The only goal for Albania was scored by Nedim Bajrami.

Coach Silvinjo started the match against Ukraine with the following lineup: Thomas Strakosha (GK), Ivan Balliu, Ardian Ismajli (C), Arlind Ajeti, Mario Mitaj, Ylber Ramadani, Kristjan Asllani, Qazim Laçi, Jasir Asani, Ernest Muçi, Mirlind Daku.

Ukraine opened the scoring early in the match with Zinchenko. In the 10th minute, the visitors doubled their lead through Yaremchuk.

At the end of the first half, Albania came close to scoring with Ernest Muçi, but his shot went out.

The second half began with two substitutions for Albania. Mirlind Daku and Jasir Asani were replaced by Myrto Uzuni and Nedim Bajrami.

The second half started with a faster pace for Albania, who immediately threatened with Uzuni. Ajeti also had a good chance with a shot from outside the box. Later on, Arbër Hoxha, Indrit Tuci, and Taulant Seferi were also brought on.

Albania was awarded a penalty in the 74th minute, which Myrto Uzuni won and was converted into a goal by Nedim Bajrami.

The Albanian team continued to push for an equalizer, but without success. The match ended with a 1-2 victory for Ukraine.

In the next edition of the Nations League, Albania will compete in League C.
