Albania drew 0-0 with the Czech Republic in the match played this evening, valid for Group B1 of the UEFA Nations League. At the “Air Albania” stadium, the Albanian team, led by coach Silvinjo, was held to a goalless draw.
Coach Silvinjo started the match against the Czech Republic with the following starting lineup: Thomas Strakosha (GK), Ivan Balliu, Adrian Ismajli (C), Arlind Ajeti, Ylber Ramadani, Mario Mitaj, Qazim Laçi, Kristjan Asllani, Indrit Tuci, Nedim Bajrami, Jasir Asani.
The first minutes of the match were calm, but the Czechs threatened twice on Albania’s goal as the match progressed.
Albania responded with Bajrami, who had two good chances, but failed to convert. The national team made the first substitution in the 30th minute. Asani, who was injured, was replaced by Taulant Seferi.
The Albanian team tried again, and at the end of the first half, they came very close to scoring with Qazim Laçi, but his header was saved by the opposing goalkeeper. The first half ended 0-0.
The second half began with Albania being more dominant. In the 53rd minute, Albania had a good chance with Laçi, but his shot was blocked by a Czech defender.
