The Football Federation welcomed the next meeting of the UEFA Media Committee this Friday morning. This meeting, like never before, was organized in the capital of Albania and at the ” House of Football” under the leadership of the committee’s chairman, Armand Duka. This committee consists of representatives from European federations and UEFA officials.
Before declaring the meeting open, the President of the Albanian Football Federation, Armand Duka, delivered a welcoming speech to all those present at the session. President Duka expressed that he felt honored that the Albanian Football Association is hosting a meeting of the Media Committee in Tirana, while also highlighting the developments that Albania has undergone in recent years in terms of infrastructure, the development of young talents, and investments in the technical and strategic aspects of the game.

“Honored members of the UEFA Media Committee and dear colleagues,
On behalf of UEFA and the Albanian Football Association, I like to welcome you in Tirana.
I am truly honored to host the UEFA Media Committee in Tirana, our beautiful capital, for the first time and for my second meeting as Chairman. We are delighted to welcome you to Albania, a country where football is more than just a sport—it is a passion and a source of national pride
In recent years, Albania has made important steps in building its football infrastructure, developing young talent, and investing in both the technical and strategic aspects of the game. And we are proud to share with you the progress we have achieved while aligning with UEFA’s values and objectives.
The UEFA Media Committee and all of us play a vital role in shaping how the world experiences and engages with football. Our work ensures that the values, and stories of football reach fans from every corner of Europe.
Today we will have the possibility to discuss different matters of media and communication plans, a review on EURO 2024, a look on the upcoming Women EURO 2025 plans and other very interesting topics and I am very confident that we will have a fruitful discussion.
