Three Albanian teams, Kukes, Laçi and Partizani, participating in the UEFA Europa League, have also learned their opponents in the lottery conducted in Nion, Switzerland. Kukes, ranked second in the Championship of Superior Category, will play against Torpedoes, Belarus. Kukes was placed in the first group, the second bowl. Possible opponents were: Litex Lovech (Bulgaria), FC Sheriff (Moldova), FC St. Johnstone (Scotland), NK Koper (Slovenia) and FC Torpedo Zhodino (Belarus).
Laci participating in the UEFA Europa League as winner of the Albania Cup will play against the Azerbaijani, Inter Baku. Laci was placed in the eighth group. Possible opponents were: AIK Solna (Sweden), Go Ahead Eagles (Netherlands), Inter Baku (Azerbaijan), Reykjavik (Iceland) and Tórshavn (Faroe Islands).
Partizani returning to Europe after a relatively long period, will play against the Norwegians of Stromsgodset. Partizani was placed in the ninth group. Possible opponents were: Neftçi PFK (Azerbaijan), NK Domžale (Slovenia), Stromsgodset IF (Norway), F91 Dudelange (Luxembourg), MSK Zilina (Slovakia VK).
The first meetings will take place on July 2nd, while return plays on July 9th.
