The Football Association will organize the UEFA Goalkeeping A Licence course, which is UEFA’s highest qualification for goalkeeper coaches, raising training standards.
The course, which will start in the spring, will last 10 months and is structured in five blocks, with a total of 140 hours of instruction.
Participants will engage in 70 hours of interactive learning and a minimum of 70 hours of practical experience in a club environment, with at least 84 hours dedicated to the practical aspect on the field.
This license prepares specialists in the role to train goalkeepers at an elite level. The curriculum focuses on developing a deep understanding of goalkeeper development in a team context, training methodologies, as well as integrating goalkeepers into the team’s tactics and strategies.
Coaches will also develop a collaborative approach closely with all members of the technical staff, contribute to the club’s technical policy, and work together to manage the factors influencing the team’s performance.
Through these programs, the Albanian Football Federation aims to support the professional growth of all goalkeeper coaches in Albania working at all levels.
