The U-21 team led by coach Alban Bushi lost the friendly match against Italy with the result 3-1. The match was held at 18:30in ‘’Sardegna Arena’’ in Cagliari. The first half ended with the lead of the home team 1-0, with the goal scored by Dimarco. The second half had more scoring opportunities and in the 91st minute Albania equalizes the result with Vrioni, after Kristal Abazaj hit the post. The Italians scored the winning goals in the extra time with Murgia in 92’ and Parigini in 94’.
