The U-19 national team headed by Erjon Bogdani achieved a victory in the final of the tournament ‘’Roma Caput Mundi’’ held in the stadium ‘’Anco Marzio di Ostia’’. The young Red and Blacks took a clear 2-0 victory against Romania , by dominating both parts of the game. The goals were scored by Cela in the first half and Metolli in the second ,thus cementing the success for the U-19 national team. The line-up of Albania was : Alia, Arapi, Cela, Abara, Sufaj, Rama, Rada, Gashi, Myrteza, Bushaj dhe Pjetri.

Match 1 : Malta 1-2 Albania
Match 2 : England 0-2 Albania
Match 3 : Italy L.A 0-0 Albania (Albania won after penalty shootout 2-4)
