The Albanian national team U-16 triumphed over San Marino with the result 3-1, at the final match for the friendly tournament ‘’UEFA DEVELOPMENT U-16’’. The third match played this Tuesday at 11:00 at ‘’Montecchio Stadium’’ in San Marino.
With this result, the red and blacks of coach Dzemal Mustedanagic collected 8 points after three matches, ranking first and winning the tournament. The national team made a great presentation, winning 4-3 after the penalty shootout against Italy and the win against Armenia, 2-0.
Meanwhile the match against San Marino was interesting , with the Albanian team turning the result around, after finding itself in disadvantage after the first half. At the second half the Albanian footballers reacted immediately, scoring three goals, 48’ and 78’ by Papa and 74’ by Sulovari. The whistle signals the end and with the win 3-1 the U-16 team comes from San Marino with a trophy. The start of the competition was very positive, after beating with penalties the strongest team of the group, Italy. Coach Mustedanagic line-up for this match was :
