The Albanian U-15 national team played its first friendly match against Croatia today. The match, held at the “House of Football,” was won by Croatia with a score of 4-1.
Coach Armand Dama started the match with the following starting lineup: Marsid Hoxha (GK), Redon Pervetica, Rian Neza, Albion Muji, Eno Resuli, Roan Dema, Angelo Como, Gentjan Sharka, Klevis Basha, Haxhi Rrena (C), and Fabio Hyseni.
Albania started the match very well, breaking the deadlock in the 3rd minute with a goal by Gentjan Sharka. The red and blacks were playing at a high tempo and immediately after the goal won a penalty, which was taken by Haxhi Rrena, but his shot was saved by the Croatian goalkeeper.
Croatia equalized in the 10th minute and took the lead in the 20th minute. The third goal came in the 30th minute, and just before the end of the first half, the Croatians scored their fourth goal.
In the second half, the red and blacks tried to respond and score again, while coach Dama made several substitutions, but the score remained unchanged.
The match ended with a 1-4 score in favor of Croatia. The second friendly between the two teams will be played on April 10th at 10:00.
