Redi Jupi will be the new coach of the national U-21 team and Arjan Bellai coach of U-19 team. This morning in the Conference Hall of the Albanian Football Federation, the Secretary General of this institution Ilir Shulku presented the newly appointed coaches of the national U-21 and U-19 teams. “I thank the previous coaches initially for the commendable work they have performed in running the national teams. Altin Lala wanted to leave for personal reasons and with approval of AFF. However, a champion like Lala is always welcome in our staff”- said Shulku.
Then Secretary General presented Redi Jupi as head of the 21-year-olds bench of Albania and Arjan Bellai as head of U-19 team bench. “We started work immediately to prepare the next two games against Israel and Portugal. Fortunately, I know the team as I have collaborated with Skender. I guess they will be tough matches, which will require maximum commitment. We will not make major changes” – said among others coach Redi Jupi. While Arjan Bellai thanked AFF and President Duka for the trust adding: “Of course for the team I had little new things to say, because I know it better working together with Altin Lala. We will do our best with the contingent of players we have available” – promised coach Arjan Bellai.
Assistant of the coach Redi Jupi of 21-year-olds team will be one of the most recognized names of Albanian football in 70-80 years, Vasillaq Zëri. As assistant of coach Arjan Bellai to 19 year olds will be another big name of football in 80-90s, Sulejman Demollari.
