The Women’s National Team concluded its routine 9-day training camp in Montenegro this Saturday. During this camp, the coach invited 17 players, creating a blend of experienced players who have previously been part of the team and new talents brought up from the U-19 National Team.
Throughout the nine days, the squad engaged in daily intensive preparations, following the red-and-black technical staff’s guidance with dedication. Coach Armir Grima, in a statement for fshf.org, described the training camp as very valuable for the team’s preparations for the upcoming Nations League matches scheduled for next month.
“The 9 day training camp in Ulcinj was extremely beneficial. We really needed to get back on the field to improve the team’s physical condition, considering the two upcoming Nations League matches against Ukraine and the Czech Republic in February. The girls worked very well, handled the physical workload, and meticulously followed our instructions, both during training sessions and in the analyses we conducted,” said Grima.
This camp also introduced new additions to the squad, with five new players from the U-19 National Team joining the senior team for the first time. Coach Grima expressed his satisfaction with their efforts during the training sessions.
“From the U-19 National Team, we invited five players, and I am very pleased with their work, passion, and commitment. They have fully engaged in every training session. Of course, they still have a lot of work ahead of them, but if they continue with this rhythm and dedication in their daily routines, they will be a great asset for the future of the senior National Team,” concluded Coach Grima.
