The Albanian U-21 National Team played today their second friendly match against Luxembourg U-21. The match, held away at the “Stade Georges Wohlfart,” ended with a 1-0 victory for Luxembourg.
Coach Alban Bushi started the match against Luxembourg with the following starting lineup: Aron Jukaj (GK), Ermir Selimaj, Elton Fikaj, Ervin Bashi, Zylyf Muca, Gabriel Ramaj, Luan Simnica, Feta Fetai (C), Renaldo Torraj, Ermir Rashica, and Dion Ajvazi.
The match was hard-fought by both teams, but the first half ended without any goals, finishing in a 0-0 draw.
The only goal of the match came in the second half, with Luxembourg finding the back of the net in the 56th minute.
The red and blacks attempted to equalize and created several good scoring opportunities, but lacked the necessary accuracy. In the end, the match concluded with a 1-0 scoreline.
The friendly matches in March against Greece U-21 and Luxembourg U-21 served to test and observe the condition of the players in the squad.
