The Technical Directorate of the AFA held a meeting at the premises of the “House of Football” to discuss the reform of the youth championships.
The meeting was attended by the heads of club academies, first teams participating in the “Abissnet Superiore” and First Division championships, as well as the presidents of private academies competing in the U13-U19 championships.
The Football Association proposed that, through the active participation of all club and academy representatives, ideas, suggestions, and perspectives be shared to continuously improve the quality of football in the future.
Following this meeting, a championship reform will be created to meet the needs of the clubs. Meanwhile, in the upcoming season, all clubs with teams in the 5-8 and 9-13 age groups will have access to a didactic material containing technical exercises, tactical games, and other supporting elements to make the training process easier and more efficient.
