The third edition of the “Talent & Mentor” project, organized by the Refereeing Department of the Albanian Football Association, has started. This important project, which runs in a two-year cycle, aims to enhance the quality of talented referees, build the personality of the referee, promote referees to the elite level, and improve their performance.
This season, five talented referees have been selected: Gerard Çokaj, Enis Dishani, Orgest Bala, Olgert Nuhi, and Engli Menkshi. Additionally, this season brings a new feature, as for the first time, four assistants are also participating in the program: Aurrel Topi, Edjena Kapxhiu, Endri Mehmetaj, and Xhuljan Rroshi. They will be monitored by two active FIFA category assistants.
The mentors of the referees are well-known names in the field of refereeing, who will contribute to the successful implementation of this project.
During the program, participants will take part in specially designed practical and theoretical seminars, benefiting from continuous support and guidance from their mentors.
Both before and during the program, participants set specific, measurable, achievable, and time-bound objectives for short, medium, and long-term periods. These objectives are regularly reviewed and assessed by selected experts.
