On December 4, 5, 7, and 10, the Albanian Football Association opened its doors to all Albanian footballers born in 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010. Young players of Albanian origin, born and raised in various countries across Europe and the world, took part in the selections organized by the Federation.
The young red and blacks participated in matches held at the “House of Football,” where they were observed by national team coaches for different age groups, the Technical Directorate staff, and the head of scouting at AFA, Ardi Behari.
In the presence of their families and friends, these Red-and-Black talents, whose hearts beat for Albania, had the opportunity to showcase their skills through physical tests and friendly matches played among themselves.
Over 550 young footballers applied to be part of this “Open Stage” event, born in the years 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010.
The interest in this selection process has been exceptional, and now the AFA working group faces the difficult task of selecting the best players from these age groups. The training sessions and friendly matches were recorded, and the Red-and-Black team will analyze the performances of the young footballers.
In addition to the observations and analysis conducted during the selection days, these footballers will continue to be monitored by AFA scouts, who operate across Europe and the world, at their respective clubs.
