The President of the Dutch Football Association visits the “House of Football”: The achievements of the AFA in recent years have been extraordinary

The President of the Dutch Football Association (KNVB), Frank Paauw, had an official visit to the “House of Football” this Wednesday. Invited by the President of the AFA, Armand Duka, the head of the Dutch Association had the opportunity to learn about the history of Albanian football and its achievements over the years.

President Paauw also visited the “Arena Kombëtare” stadium up close, as well as the national team’s training center and the training facilities of the “House of Football.”

During the meeting with President Duka, discussions focused on potential cooperation between the two associations, particularly in exchanging experiences and developing joint projects in the future. The President of the Kosovo Football Association (FFK), Agim Ademi, was also present in the meeting.

In a statement for fshf.org, President Paauw expressed his great admiration for the achievements and high level of the AFA in recent years. The President of the Dutch Association appreciated President Duka’s invitation and emphasized that the relationship between the two football institutions is very strong.

“I must say I am very impressed with the achievements of the Albanian Football Association in recent years. This applies not only to the responsibility the Association feels towards Albanian society and the great work they have done but also to the growth of both professional and amateur football to a higher level.

I had the opportunity to discuss this with President Armand Duka because when you look at the history of where the Association comes from, the country’s development, and the achievements made, it is truly extraordinary and impressive. I visited the stadium and the Association’s training fields. They are at a high level, and I must say that for a relatively small country, this is a great achievement.

The relationship between the two countries? – The fact that I highly appreciate being invited here and that we, as two Associations, seek innovation is a key point for cooperation. A strong relationship has already been established for some time between the Royal Netherlands Football Association and the Albanian Football Association. This visit is also an even greater boost for our relations,” -said Frank Paauw.
