The President of the Football Association, Armand Duka, was welcomed today to a meeting by the Mayor of Rome, Roberto Gualtieri.
President Duka was accompanied by the President of the FIGC, Gabriele Gravina, the Secretary General of the FIGC, Marco Brunelli, the President of the Ukrainian Association, Andriy Shevchenko, the President of the Montenegrin Association, Dejan Savićević, and the President of the San Marino Association, Marco Tura.
During the meeting and visit to the Capitoline Museums, issues related to football and cooperation between the associations were discussed.
In his conversation with the President of the Albanian Football Association, among other things, the Mayor of Rome, Gualtieri, fondly recalled his visit to Tirana during the UEFA Conference League final, Roma vs. Feyenoord. In that historic first final of the competition, it was Roma’s team that triumphed by winning the trophy.
Meanwhile, President Duka, the day before, attended the FIGC Electoral Assembly, where Gabriele Gravina was re-elected as the President of the Italian Football Federation for the next four years.
