The untimely passing of the footballer from Vushtrri FC, Erjon Morina, has shocked all sports enthusiasts in both Albania and Kosovo. President Duka sent a condolence telegram to the Football Association of Kosovo and FK Vushtrria, on behalf of himself and the Albanian football community.

Dear President, dear Agim,
With deep sadness, I received the tragic news of the passing of the young and talented footballer, Erjon Morina, who, after a long battle for his life, was unable to overcome the heart attack he suffered during training with his team, FK Vushtrria.
In these difficult times for the entire football community in Kosovo, allow me, on behalf of myself, as well as on behalf of the Executive Committee of the Albanian Football Association, our clubs, and the large family of Albanian football, to express my most sincere condolences for this great and untimely loss.
Our hearts are with the Morina family, FK Vushtrria, his friends, and teammates, who are experiencing this immense and unexpected loss. Erjon, although young, made a great impact on the world of football and will always be remembered for his passion, energy, and love for the sport.
The Albanian Football Association expresses its deepest condolences for this heavy loss.
We will always remember him with respect and honor, as a footballer who gave everything to achieve his dreams.
