The national team of Albania triumphed 2-0 against Liechtenstein , on Thursday evening, in the framework of the qualifying round of World Cup ‘’ Russia 2018’’. The Red&Blacks led by coach Gianni De Biasi took everything from this challenge , continuing the good results of the start of this edition, with the first success achieved against Macedonia 2-1 , in Shkodra.

At the match played in ‘’ The Rheinpark Stadion’’ Albania started well , scoring in the 11th minute, with Jahmir Hyka. The midfielder took advantage of a assist from Balaj , and scored a header , with the help of the opponent keeper.

The team’s line-up was on offense the entire time , thus dominating the first half , creating other scoring opportunities. Even the second half continued the same , with the Red&Blacks in control of the game.

The safety goal would come at the 71st minute. It was Balaj first who shot the goal . but keeper sent it on a corner kick. From the corner Hyka passes for Hysaj, who volleys a perfect ball for Balaj , who scores and takes the result to 2-0. The result didn’t change until the end, and the national team registering the second consecutive success.

This win takes Albania at the first place at Group G , with 6 points , leaving behind Spain and Italy with 4. Spain and Italy played in Turin, a match that ended in a draw 1-1. After three days , the National team will play in ‘’Loro Borici’’ against Spain.
