The Albanian Futsal National Team played their final qualifying match today against Denmark, valid for the 2026 European Championship.
In the match held at the “Mizahir Isma” sports hall in Rahovec, the visitors triumphed with a 3-5 victory.
Coach Erind Resuli started the match with the following lineup: Valdrin Mjeku (GK), Arif Limani, Arber Shkodra, Halim Selmanaj, Roald Halimi (C).
The match started well for Albania, who scored a goal in the second minute through Selmanaj.
Denmark equalized in the 10th minute with Falck, and in the 12th minute, Albania regained the lead after an own goal by Kasumovic.
The Danes scored two more goals in the first half through Oscar Hansen and Jorgensen. In the second half, Denmark added a fourth goal with Mikkel Foged Hansen.
Albania found the net again in the 38th minute with Halim Selmanaj, narrowing the gap. The red and blacks tried until the end to equalize, but were unsuccessful.
In the final moments, the Danes scored a fifth goal through Gantzhorn, and the match ended 3-5.
