In October, November, and December, the Albanian Football Association organized, like never before, four rounds of the U-17 and U-19 European Championship qualifiers for boys and girls, ahead of the 2025 tournament.
The Association welcomed 11 national teams from Montenegro, Belarus, Moldova, Denmark, Northern Ireland, Kosovo, the Netherlands, the Faroe Islands, Croatia, and Israel. All teams were accommodated in the capital city and in Durrës, where they conducted their preparations for the respective tournaments.
The stadiums “Arena Kombëtare,” “Elbasan Arena,” “Niko Dovana,” “Egnatia Arena,” and “Football House” opened their doors to these teams and to all Albanian football fans.
While the Football Association has previously organized European qualifiers, this was the first time that four rounds of qualifiers for Euro 2025 were held over three months, with participation from the national teams in various age groups for both boys and girls.
