FIFA has organized the Medical Conference in Boston, USA, where all 211 FIFA member associations were present with their representatives. In this two-day conference, Albania was represented by the head of the Sports Medicine Department at the AFA, who is also the doctor of the national team, Gianluca Stesina, as well as by the doctor of the girls’ national team, Genta Nallbani.
The conference started with the speech of the President of FIFA, Gianni Infantino, who greeted all the participants and appreciated the great importance of this conference in the unification of football medicine at the global level.
At the FIFA medical conference over the course of two days, several very important topics were discussed which are directly related to medicine in football, the treatment of injuries to athletes, challenges and innovations, giving great attention to the health of footballers in the field of the game.
