On behalf of FIFA, present at the AFA General Electoral Assembly was Mr. Elkhan Mammadov, Director of National Associations at FIFA. In his speech, he conveyed greetings on behalf of the FIFA President and Secretary and praised the development of FSHF over the years and the cooperation between our federation and FIFA.
Mammadov congratulated and thanked President Duka on behalf of FIFA for his commitment to developing Albanian football and for all his achievements leading AFA.
“It is a great pleasure for me to be in Tirana today and to participate in the AFA General Assembly. First of all, I want to convey the warmest wishes and best regards from the FIFA President, Gianni Infantino, as well as from the Secretary General, Mattias Grafström. And of course, from the entire FIFA administration, which works closely with colleagues here at AFA.
Football in Albania is about passion and development. It is a daily topic of discussion within the community. Football is about the fans. And certainly, it is a moment to be proud. Every Albanian should be proud of the national team and the developments in Albanian football. We are FIFA, and we are very pleased to see the fantastic cooperation with AFA.
I want to congratulate Mr. Duka, my dear friend Armand, for his achievements and accomplishments, for your long-term leadership, dedication, and commitment to developing football. This demonstrates stability and consistency, where vision brings us together to achieve success.
I want to thank you on behalf of FIFA for your commitment and dedication to developing football in your beautiful country and for helping us have you as an inspiring example, and I hope Albania qualifies for the World Cup.
