The Executive Committee of the AFA convened to review and approve a series of important decisions related to the development of football in the country. Central topics of discussion included improvements to sports infrastructure, setting new start dates for national championships, and new projects to support girls’ football.
One of the most significant decisions was the approval of incentives for girls’ football. Additionally, ticket prices were discussed and set for the four matches of the “Final 4” phase.
During the meeting, approval was given for renovations at the “Elbasan Arena” stadium as part of the preparations for the UEFA U-17 European Championship finals. A request for partial reconstruction of the “Durim Qypi” stadium in Përmet was also approved. Furthermore, an investment in the “House of Football” for the irrigation system of training fields was authorized.
The committee was also presented with proposals for the start dates of the upcoming national football championships, along with several amendments to the regulations governing the “Abissnet Superiore,” “Kategoria e Parë,” and “Kategoria e Dytë” competitions.
