The draw for the final matches of the U-17 European Championship “Albania 2025” took place this Monday at the “House of Football” determining the groups and the opponents of the eight finalist national teams. The tournament will take place in Albania from may 19 until June 1 2025.
The draw was conducted by the ambassador of the tournament, Klaus Gjasula, who drew the balls, while the ceremony was led by UEFA’s Head of Boy’s Football, Lance Kelly. The event was attended by representatives of the finalist teams, UEFA’s, the AFA’s, the media, the Albanian government and the AFA’s partners.
The tournament’s groups:
Albania will be part of group A and the three other representative teams that join this group are: France, Germany and Portugal.
Part of group B will be the four other teams: Italy, Belgium, England and Czechia.
The final phase of this tournament will be played in four stadiums of our country: “Arena Kombëtare”, Tiranë, “Elbasan Arena”, Elbasan, “Arena Egnatia”, Rrogozhinë and “Niko Dovana”, Durrës.
Albania will play the opening match of the U-17 European Championship against Portugal, on May 19 at the “Arena Kombëtare” at 18:00.
The big final will take place on June 1st at the “Arena Kombëtare” in Tirana.
