Alban Bushi and Erjon Bogdani will be the head coaches of the national teams U-21 and U-19. Their presentation in front of the media was made in the conference room in the premises of the federation. It was the Technical Director , Paolo Tramezzani , who presented the new coaches and wished them success in their future endeavors. Alban Bushi replaced Redi Jupi and Erjon Bogdani replaced Arjan Bellai. During the presentation , both former coaches were praised for their work done during the period they led the teams.
‘’ This is a high evaluation but at the same time a difficult task , to coach the U-21. I will give my best to achieve best results. My experience will be at the service of this new and difficult task’’ – stressed the newly appointed coach Alban Bushi.
Meanwhile, Erjon Bogdani thanked for the trust and added that : ‘’ This is a great opportunity and I am conscious that it will be a difficult task. But life itself is a challenge and for this reason it is worthy to work hard in order to progress’’.
Then they answered the questions of the press.
Bushi and Bogdani were renowned forwards with a rich career. The interesting fact is that they are nr1 and nr2 in the best scorer list of the Albanian national team. Bogdani holds the first place with 18 goals and Bushi is the second with 14. During this period Alban Bushi served as the manager of the national team, and Erjon Bogdani was the assistant coach of the coach Gianni De Biasi.
