This Monday evening, the Gala event “The Best of Sport 2024” was held in the city of Korça, where the top 10 athletes of the region were honored, representing various sports disciplines.
The event was held at the “Andon Zako Çajupi” Theater with the participation of sports personalities and many other invited guests.
The AFA’s president, Armand Duka, greeted the Gala Evening through a video-message, showing appreciation to the organizers and congratulating athletes for their achievements during the year 2024.
In his message he emphasized the importance of further investments in sports infrastructure to pave the path for future achievements.

It is a special pleasure for me to be part of this extraordinary evening where the top 10 athletes of the Korça region for 2024 are being honored, even if virtually.
The excellent sports tradition of this region, from football and athletics to other sports disciplines, is a valuable asset for Albanian sports and an inspiration for future generations.
I congratulate you for this organization and deeply appreciate the fact that you have come together to celebrate the achievements of sports in Korça at this gala event.
I want to express my gratitude to all the winners who, with their talent and dedication, have raised the name of the Korça region. You represent a reliable source of pride for the people of this city.
I invite you to continue our joint efforts to improve the infrastructure and sports facilities in the Korça area, as this is a particularly important aspect that requires our full attention.
Korça is a city of sports enthusiasts and, for many years, has been distinguished for producing elite athletes in various sports.
