The Albanian U-17 national team will also play two friendly matches against Italy. The Red and Blacks will face the “Azzurri” on August 12 and 14 at the “Coverciano” sports center.
These two friendlies against Italy will serve as the first tests for the new U-17 national team coach, Fatjon Tafaj, who will be evaluating the group of selected players.
The first match, Italy U-17 vs. Albania U-17, will be played on August 12 at 18:00, while the second game will take place on August 14 at 11:00.
These friendly matches are part of the team’s preparation for the first qualifying round of the UEFA European Championship “Estonia 2026.”
Albania is placed in Group 8, alongside Croatia, the Netherlands, and Kazakhstan.
All matches of this mini-tournament will be played in Croatia on November 11, 14, and 17, 2025.
