The AFA’s Executive Committee held its first meeting of the year, where several important decisions were made. Infrastructure projects were approved, and adjustments were made to the completion dates of “Abissnet Superiore,” the Albanian Cup, and the “Final Four” phase.
The “Abissnet Superiore” Championship will finish on April 27, 2025. The “Final Four “phase will take place from May 4 to 12, 2025, and the Albanian Cup Final will be played on May 1, 2025.
As part of the preparations for the UEFA U-17 European Championship “Albania 2025”, major renovations will take place at “Selman Stërmasi”, the “Skënder Halili” complex, “Tofik Jashari” and “Roza Haxhiu”. Additionally,the decision was made for partial renovations at “Niko Dovana,” “Tropikal Sol,” “Luzi,” and “Egnatia Arena.”
Also, the Executive Committee decided to invest in Vora Stadium for the construction of the main stand, meeting UEFA standards.
Discussions also focused on administrative matters, national team preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, and the budget for amateur football for the 2025-2026 period.
