The President of the Albanian Football Association, Armand Duka, held a working meeting today with the coaches of all national youth teams for boys and girls, as well as representatives of the AFA Technical Department.
The meeting focused on reviewing the progress of the national youth teams, assessing the results achieved in recent periods, and identifying challenges and areas that require improvement in order to raise the level of Albanian football.
During the discussions, President Duka emphasized the importance of building a clear, long-term strategy for the development of national youth teams, highlighting the need for greater focus on domestic football and the identification of talents emerging from Albanian leagues.
A significant part of the meeting was dedicated to analyzing the work of the regional representative teams, which constitute an important link in the process of discovering and developing young footballers.
Participants discussed ways to increase the effectiveness of this process and strengthen coordination among technical structures at all levels. The progress of the Elite Youth Development program, one of the Albanian Football Association’s most important projects for youth football development, was also a central topic of discussion.
Those present reviewed the academy’s progress to date and its outlook for the coming years, with the goal of preparing and producing future generations of talent who will represent Albanian football at the highest levels.
President Duka praised the work of the coaches and technical staff across all age categories, stressing that the development of young footballers remains one of the Albanian Football Association’s strategic priorities. He called for maximum commitment from all structures involved in this process in order to improve the quality of work, achieve better sporting results, and build the strongest possible foundation for the future of the national teams.
