The first edition of the UEFA C coaching license course in Gjirokastër has successfully concluded, with 21 participants from the cities of Gjirokastër and Saranda graduating. This marks an important step for the development of football coaching in the region.
Among the graduates were 5 women, who were awarded their coaching diplomas, further promoting female participation in football.
The graduation ceremony was attended by the course coordinator, Erjon Stavri; Gjirokastër Mayor, Flamur Golemi; President of the Gjirokastër Football Regional Association (SHRF), Sadik Sadikaj; Secretary of SHRF Gjirokastër, Xhavid Kaçorri; and Technical Director of SHRF Gjirokastër, Petraq Meçi.
Graduates of the UEFA C course are now qualified to work as coaches in amateur football and as assistant coaches for youth teams at all levels of competitions organized by the Albanian Football Association (AFA) in Albania.
The UEFA C course, which serves as a foundation for learning and understanding the core principles of football coaching, was highly regarded as a successful and professional process. Participants gained in-depth knowledge of both the theory and practice of the game.
