The Albanian National Mini-Football Team made a winning debut at the Socca World Cup 2024. The Reds secured a 2-1 victory in their first group match against Australia.
Albania took the lead in the 2nd minute with a goal from Endri Kaca, while Giovanni Hoxha sealed the win at the end of the match.
Coach Irtan Sejko started with the following lineup: Kejd Myrta (GK), Joanc Duqi, Endrit Kaca, Guido Tepshi, Erald Leci, and Armand Gapi.
The match started very well for Albania, with the team taking the lead through Endri Kaca and then managing the game. However, Australia equalized towards the end of the first half.
The second half was evenly matched for both teams, but Albania took advantage of the opportunities late in the game and scored the winning goal through Giovanni Hoxha.
Three valuable points for the Albanian Mini-Football Team, and now the Reds will aim for their next win in the group. Albania will face Peru tomorrow at 20:00.
