Skënderbeu won the Supercup of Albania in the final played in ‘’Selman Stermasi’’ stadium in Tirana. After a goalless first half, with very few scoring opportunities , five goals were scored in the second. The first to score were the players of coach Mergjyshi, in the 49th minute, with Lushkja benefiting from a mistake of Skënderbeu. The equalizer came at the 55th minute, when the defender from Kosovo, Fidan Aliti scored.
The advantage comes for Skënderbeu at the 68th minute, with Gjergji Muzaka perfectly executing a penalty given by referee Juxhin Xhaja, after the foul of Sefgjini. After four minutes is Muzaka again that scores the third goal for Skënderbeu and 3-1. With a couple of minutes to go, Laçi scores in the 84th
minute when Redon Xhixha reopens the match but that was it. No result change until the last whistle. This match paved the way of the new season of the Superior Category that will start on Friday, and will celebrate the 80th edition of Superliga with the opening match in ‘’ Skenderbeu ‘’ stadium between the team from Korça and Partizani.
