The General Assembly of the Shkodër Regional Football Association met this Thursday at the “Loro Borici” stadium, making important decisions regarding the football activities organized by this association.
The meeting was attended by 17 members of the association, represented by 21 delegates, who reviewed and discussed the main agenda items. These included the Association’s activity report, approval of the financial statements, the budget for 2025, changes to the logo, and the election of delegates who will represent SHRF Shkodër at the AFA General Assembly.
The President of AFA, Armand Duka, and the AFA Executive Committee member, Envi Hicka, were also present at the proceedings of the General Assembly of the Shkodër Regional Football Association.
President Duka wished the Assembly a productive session and thanked the Shkodër Regional Football Association for its contribution to the development of football. He emphasized the increase in the number of football players in 2025, especially female players. “I want to thank you for your contribution in 2024 to the development of football in Shkodër. I would also like to thank the Association’s President, Lazer Matija, for successfully leading the Association in 2024, and I hope he continues to do the same moving forward.
It is very important to be transparent with the funds that the Association has. Every member should know the details, and this is something very important. SHRF Shkodër is one of the most important Associations because it has a significant number of football players. Football was born here, and this is important, not only the boys’ football but also the girls’ football, and our responsibility and attention are even greater for the Shkodër region.
Since I took the floor to greet you and thank you for 2024, I believe that in 2025, we should set some objectives and think about improving certain things to achieve our goals.
Today, 1100 football players are training at SHRF Shkodër, and considering the population of Shkodër and the love it has for football, we must undoubtedly aim to increase these numbers by five times.
The objectives are even more focused on the Association generating financial resources for itself, something you still don’t have. Thank you, and I wish the Assembly productive work,”- said President Duka.
Also present at the Assembly was the President of Vllaznia, Alban Xhaferri, who initially thanked the attendees and then proceeded with the verification of mandates. “Thank you for your presence at the General Assembly of SHRF Shkodër.”
Furthermore, the President of SHRF Shkodër, Lazër Matija, delivered a welcoming speech, where he praised the increase in children’s participation in football in this region and the success of the association’s projects. He emphasized the need for infrastructure improvement and the importance of collaboration for the further development of football in the region.
Then, through voting, the financial statements and the budget for 2025 were approved. Additionally, the change of the SHRF Shkodër logo was also approved.
The delegates who will represent SHRF Shkodër at the AFA General Assembly were also elected, as proposed by the members. After the voting of the SHRF Shkodër members, Lazër Matija and Alfred Pjetri were elected as delegates.
