The Albanian U-21 national team will play another friendly in March against the United States U-21. The Football Federation has reached an agreement with the U.S. Soccer Federation to hold the match on March 30 at 15:00 in Antalya, Turkey.
Earlier, Albania U-21 will face Japan U-21 in a friendly on March 27, also in Antalya, with the U.S. match following three days later.
Ahead of the 2027 U-21 European Championship, the Albanian U-21 team will only play friendly matches, as the country has automatically qualified for the tournament as one of the hosts.
These March friendlies will provide coach Alban Bushi and his technical staff an excellent opportunity to assess players’ form up close and test new elements in preparation for the 2027 U-21 European Championship.
