President of the Italian Federation of Football Game (FIGC) Carlo Tavecchio, met the Albanian delegation headed by the President of the Albanian Football Federation (AFF), Mr. Armand Duka. While taking place the friendly match between Italy and Albania this evening in Genoa, the two federations through their higher representatives, had a friendly luncheon meeting on Tuesday. “We are happy and honoured to have the Albania National Team in Italy for an historical football match between the two friendly countries” – has emphasized among others in his speech the President Carlo Tavecchio, who has confirmed that it will continue the existing cooperation between the two Federations.
On his part, the President of AFF Armand Duka after thanking for the hospitality, has outlined: “It is a beautiful and historical moment. Our people have waited for years such a football match, with one of the strongest teams in the world. We are also happy that through this match, we are giving our contribution expressing our solidarity to all those affected by the recent floods in Italy”.
