Germany has honored today the football legend Franc Beckenbauer, who passed away a few days ago in at age of 78, with a grand ceremony at the “Allianz Arena” stadium in Munich.
At the organized tributes from Fc Bayern Munich club and Beckenbauer’s family, Armand Duka the president of the AFA who is also vice president of UEFA was also invited. Meanwhile there were also different important personalities of the German government, from European Football and also over 50 thousand fans.
“With an invitation from FC Bayern Munich, I participated in the tributes held today at the “Allianz Arena” stadium honoring Franc Beckenbauer, who passed away a few days ago at the age of 78. I expressed my condolences to Beckenbauer’s family, to the director’s board of Fc Bayern and to the German Football Association for their great loss” – President Duka wrote in a post in his social accounts, adding that “Der Kaiser” will always be remembered as an extraordinary football player, as a successful coach who won everything in his career, a successful leader and a personality who has had a great impact in the development of the German and international football.
A true legend one of the greatest of all times in football has left behind a rich inheritance.
