The President of AFA, Mr. Armand Duka met today at the premises of the Albanian Football Association, the ambassador of Hungary in Tirana, Mr. Lorant Balla. The aim of the meeting was the further cooperation regarding football, between ambassador Balla, President Duka and General Secretary, Ilir Shulku.
During the meeting, President Duka informed ambassador Balla regarding the developments of Albanian football during the last years, peaking with the historic qualification of Albania in the finals of ‘’Euro 2016’’, with the investments in football infrastructure and for the actual preparations of the team for the qualifiers of Euro 2020. Mr. Ball is an excellent speaker of Albanian language and Albanians because he used to be the former ambassador of Hungary in Kosovo.
Predident Duka thanked the ambassador of Hungary for the support that he is showing in further developing the bilateral relations ,sports wise , and invited him for the match of Friday between Albania and Turkey at ‘’Loro Boriçi’’ stadium, in the framework of EURO 2020 qualifiers.
