The President of the Albanian Football Association, Armand Duka delivered a congratulatory message for all the football community and Albanian society on the occasion of the 90Th anniversary of the creation of the association. President Duka praised the achievements of the most beloved game for all Albanians in years, while noting that this year will see a lot of activities and sessions for the historic events and renowned personalities of Albanian football.
President of AFA also declared that during this year, two museums of football will be inaugurated and they will be an added attraction for all the fans.

‘’Dear football players, coaches and club leaders!
Dear veterans, children who play football, representatives of media and fans!
Today is an important day for Albanian football. 90 years ago, on 6 June 1930, King Zog signed the Royal Decree for the creation of the Sports Federation, under the auspices of ‘’Djelmeria Shqiptare’’ (Albanian Boyhood).
I am thrilled today to congratulate all the football community in the country: Happy 90th anniversary of creation of the Albanian Football Association!
Other celebrations were in order but the pandemics couldn’t allow for a jubilee year for this anniversary. During this period, through social networks and media, we have brought renowned personalities and activities of Albanian football through years.
We will continue to do so through many activities and scientific sessions, the achievements for personalities of Albanian football. We will inaugurate two museums, respectively at ‘’ The House of Football’’ and the other one at ‘’Air Albania’’ Stadium, where we will display all the activities of Albanian football through the years.
I am happy, when I turn my head and see that Albanian football has marked a great progress. I am thrilled for the achievements of Albanian football and the football players, culminating with the participation of Albania at EURO 2016.
But, with all the successes, investments and big projects that have been realized during these years for the Albanian football, the future challenges are even greater. Football is the most beloved game for Albanians and in order to respond to the desire of the fans, more work will be done, in realizing the objective, having a clear strategy and bringing the game where the fans want to.
Again, I congratulate all the football community and Albanian society happy 90th anniversary of the creation of the Albanian Football Association’’.
