President of the Albanian Football Federation Mr. Armand Duka, informed about the loss of Prof. Dr. Zyber Konçi, has expressed to the family and the entire football community his condolences. Unable to be present at the homage ceremony organized by the Federation, the Head of Albanian football has sent a telegram of condolence to the family of the deceased:
“Deeply touched by the news of the demise of Prof. Dr. Zyber Konçi, let me express to you, family members and relatives, most sincere condolences on behalf of the Albanian Football Federation, from the community of this sport and in my personal name. The life of Mr. Konçi has been deeply related to football and training in Albania. Since he was a student and by the end of his life he never stayed away from his beloved sport. His practical and scientific contribution is one of the valuable assets he gave to football. As coach of the national team and of several football clubs in Albania, he is already in the hall of fame of the Albanian football”.
