The interinstitutional working group held a meeting at the Municipality of Rrogozhinë, where they discussed the progress of the works at the “Egnatia Arena” stadium and the measures to create a festive atmosphere in the city, in preparation for the UEFA European U-17 Championship “Albania 2025.”
During the meeting, representatives of the Albanian Football Association presented the progress of the works at the “Egnatia Arena,” confirming that everything is on track for completion, and the stadium will be ready for the European Championship finals.
The AFA representatives also requested that the Municipality of Rrogozhinë take on the branding of the city and the creation of a fan zone to provide a festive atmosphere for the citizens and fans who will attend the event.
In the coming days, the working group will hold additional meetings with the host cities of the European Championship to monitor the progress of preparations step by step.
